Minerals

Calcium Carbonate

Used in plastics, rubbers, paints, in pharmaceutics, cosmetics, construction materials.

Our Super White High purity calcium carbonates are micronized and are closely controlled to offer uniform particle size, this Natural Calcium Carbonate produced from the finest quality resources procured Domestically

KMPL is one of the largest company offering wide range of Ground Calcium Carbonates in India. The pertaining raw materials occurs naturally & used in the form of calcite lime stone

Diatomaceous Earth

Used to remove unwanted material from drinking water and to prevent formation of lumps in foods, medicine, paints and plastics.

Diatomaceous earth, also known as diatomite and DE, is the naturally occurring fossilized remains of diatoms—single-celled aquatic algae. It is a near-pure sedimentary deposit consisting almost entirely of silica.

Diatoms will grow in almost any environment that combines water and sunlight, allowing them to be found in both fresh and saltwater.

Calcined Clay (Kaolin)

Used in paint, plastic, rubber, polymer, paper, adhesive and ceramic industries.

Calcined clay is produced when raw kaolin or more popularly known as Clay or China Clay is fired enough to reduce its crystalline water content via a process known as Calcination.

The calcination process increases whiteness and hardness of the Clay, improves its electrical properties, and alters the size and shape of the kaolin particles. Calcination makes the powder whiter and more chemical inert. Calcined Kaolin is used as a functional extender in paint.

Bentonite

Used in drilling mud and as a binder, purifier, absorbent, and carrier for fertilizers or pesticides.

Bentonite is a natural occurrence material dominantly the Clay Mineral Montmorillonite. It is having a layered structure that possesses High Swelling properties and High Cation exchange capacities.

There are three main characteristics of Bentonite that make it commercially useful. They include Thixotropy, Swelling, and Adsorption.

China Clay

Used in the making of paper, rubber, paint, and many other products

China Clay also known as Kaolin, is a white commercial clay consisting predominantly of the mineral kaolinite, a hydrated aluminosilicate formed by chemical weathering of alluminium silicate minerals.

Kaolin is commercially valued for its whiteness and fine particle size which distinguish it from other clays. In addition to that other physical characteristics that influence commercial utility include brightness, glossiness, abrasiveness and viscosity etc.

Talc

Used in lubricants, leather dressings, toilet and dusting powders, and certain marking pencils.

Talc is the world’s softest and most hydrophobic mineral – insoluble and inert. It adds new features to products and makes processes more efficient.

Talc grades on the market often contain Magnesium Carbonate, Dolomite, Calcite, Quartz or Chlorite. The properties of these minerals may vary depending on the resource.

Dolomite

Used in applications such as steel-making, cement manufacturing, agriculture, ceramics, glass, rubber, and mining

It is widely used as an cost effective filler in various end formulation further it aids to improve Weatherability and Increase Mechanical Stability.

We have dark to whiter shades of Dolomites under our brands which are pure, Micronized and with controlled particle size available from the finest resources.
